Things to Know

A Few
Considerations

  • No direct flight from Prague to Corsica — connections via Nice, Paris or Rome add travel time; plan arrivals the evening before

  • July–August sees significant visitor numbers, particularly around Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio; May–June and September are ideal

  • A hire car is useful for pre/post days to explore the interior — Corsica’s mountain villages are a completely different world from the coast

Our expeditions launch from historic strongholds where Genoese citadels overlook a fleet of modern luxury, providing a portal to the “Kalisté” spirit.t.

LOCAL EATs

Where to eat
in Porto-Vecchio

Corsican cuisine sits at the crossroads of French refinement and Mediterranean soul — charcuterie from free-range mountain pigs, brocciu sheep’s cheese, fresh seafood from the gulf, chestnut flour and Nielluccio red wine. Porto-Vecchio’s marina quarter has some of the best restaurants on the
island at prices far more reasonable than the famous beach clubs nearby.
